Duda’s office also published fragments from the video shot from another angle and a photo of the President taken from the streets of Lviv next to the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. He stood there, almost with the people, separated by a circle of bodyguards but shaking hands with them anyway.

Background: On 11 January, in the afternoon, it was suddenly revealed that Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, and Gitanas Nausėda, the President of Lithuania, were on a visit in Lviv. They held the second Lublin Triangle Summit and signed the joint declaration.

At the briefing after the meeting, Duda stated that Poland is ready to provide Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks within the coalition framework.

Duda and Zelenskyy also visited the Cemetery of the Defenders of Lwów, the design of which has been causing disagreements between Warsaw and Kyiv for years and then the burial of the Ukrainian soldiers.
