Death toll rises to 45 after Russian missile attack on Dnipro, search and rescue works lasted for 69 hours

Updated information indicates that the number of deaths caused by the Russian missile attack on a residential building in the city of Dnipro on 14 January has increased to 45 people, including 6 children.

Update: At 19:20, Tymoshenko reported that the search and rescue works after the missile attack on Dnipro were over at 13:00; the operation lasted for 69 hours.   39 people, including 6 children, were saved; 79, including 16 children, were injured. 28 are now in the hospital, 10 of them in critical condition. 45 people, including 6 children were killed; the youngest victim was 11 months old.  

236 apartments were ruined; more than 400 people lost their home. Local authorities arranged temporary accomodation for these people.  

Earlier, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that the search and rescue operation at the site of a Russian missile strike on 14 January in the city of Dnipro had been completed, with 20 people missing, and 44 people confirmed dead.
