Occupiers have deported over 2 million Ukrainians, forcing Russian passports on them

Since the beginning of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russians have deported more than 2 million Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territories, forcing them to adopt Russian citizenship.

Quote: "During the Russian Federation’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russians have deported more than 2 million Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territories. The Russians plan to issue a Russian passport to each one of them. The authorities of the aggressor country have decided to legalise the issuance of passports at the place of residence. Previously, the document was issued at the place where they are registered as residing."

Details: According to the National Resistance Center, without a Russian passport, deportees will not get any benefits or services. In this way, people are being forced to accept Russian citizenship.

The National Resistance Center noted that what the invaders call "evacuation" is actually deportation, because it is always forced. First, the Russians create a humanitarian crisis in the temporarily occupied regions, then they frighten people with allegations of an offensive by the Armed Forces and bombings, and then those who succumb to panic are taken to the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation – in particular, Krasnodar and Stavropol oblasts.

This is being done in order to "balance out the demographic situation" in these regions, as many people from the Caucasus have been moving there in recent decades.
