Background: When MiG interceptor jets take off in Belarus, air-raid sirens are activated in Ukraine, seeing as Russia launched missiles from the air space of Belarus multiple times before.

At the moment, an air-raid siren has been sounding in Ukraine for three hours because of a Russian large-scale missile attack with the use of strategic bombers presumably from Murmansk Oblast of Russia.

Previously:

  • On the morning of 26 January, air-raid sirens sounded all over Ukraine. Natalia Humeniuk, spokesperson for the Operational Command Pivden (South), reported that another Russian large-scale missile attack is possible.
  • Power engineers have implemented emergency power shutdowns in Kyiv city and the oblasts of Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk because of the Russian missile attack threat.
  • The Air Force of Ukraine reported that the occupiers had launched over 30 missiles on Ukraine. Explosions rocked Kyiv city and Vinnytsia Oblast.
