David Arakhamia, the head of the Servant of the People party faction in the Ukrainian Parliament, has urged the government to consider the evidence that Yevhen Borysov, Head of the Odesa military enlistment office, has abused his powers, as voiced in a recent investigation by Ukrainska Pravda. Arakhamiia also called for a general inspection of military enlistment office heads in all oblasts of Ukraine.

Quote from Arakhamia: "I watched the investigation by Mykhailo Tkach about the military enlistment office (i.e. Yevhen Borysov, Head of the Odesa military enlistment office – ed.), and I was speechless."

Details: Arakhamia said that he, as a member of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence, is initiating a review of this case and its detailed coverage in the media. "I am preparing an appeal to law enforcement agencies and taking the progress of the investigation under my personal control."

The faction's chairman also noted that he would simultaneously initiate an appeal to the authorised bodies to conduct similar checks on military enlistment office heads of all regions.

Recall: Mykhailo Tkach, an Ukrainska Pravda journalist, has released an investigation called "Battalion Spain". Ukrainska Pravda visited the Odesa military commissar and other Ukrainian millionaires, reporting that Yevhen Borysov's family has purchased millions of dollars’ worth of property and cars on the Spanish coast during the full-scale war. Extracts from the Spanish registry prove this, although Borysov himself says he has no idea whether his family owns any property in Spain.
