Russia claims 42 drones attacked Crimea

The Russian Defence Ministry has said that on the night of 24-25 August, 42 drones tried to attack annexed Crimea.

Details: The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that air defence forces detected 42 unmanned aerial vehicles over the captured peninsula.

It is reported that 9 UAVs were allegedly destroyed over the territory of Crimea, and another 33 were allegedly suppressed by electronic warfare equipment, after which they crashed without reaching their target.

The Russian Telegram channel Shot posted a video of one of the drones flying over Simferopol.

Reminder: Mikhail Razvozhayev, the so-called governor of occupied Sevastopol, said that on the night of 24-25 August, several drones tried to attack the city, but were allegedly shot down over the Black Sea.
