Russian authority comments on condition of tanker after drone attack
Rosmorrechflot (Russia's Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport) said that the SIG tanker is afloat after the Ukrainian attack, there is no environmental pollution.

Quote: "The ship is afloat, there is no water supply inside the emergency vessel, the engine room is closed, there is no environmental pollution. Drainage systems work. The crew is fine."
Details: By the end of the day, it is planned to complete a diving survey of the underwater part of the tanker, the results of which will form the basis of the work plan to eliminate the damage sustained by the ship.
The work itself is to be carried out on Sunday, 6 August, after the delivery of all materials necessary to repair the breach in the hull.

- A Russian chemical tanker SIG was damaged near the Kerch Strait in a USV attack on the evening of 4 August.
- A group of emergency workers from Novorossiysk was sent to help the tanker. Two tugs arrived in the Kerch Strait to tow the vessel.
- No fuel spillage from the tanker was reported, Russian media wrote.
- The attacked SIG tanker was breached in the motor hall area.
