Ukraine's Forces kill 800 Russian soldiers, destroy 16 UAVs and 16 armoured vehicles in past day

The Russians have lost 800 soldiers, 16 drones, 16 armoured combat vehicles and 13 artillery systems during the past day.

Details: The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 6 January 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 363,870 (+800) military personnel;
• 6,018 (+7) tanks;
• 11,158 (+16) armoured combat vehicles;
•  8,617 (+13) artillery systems;
• 950 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 633 (+2) air defence systems;
• 329 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 324 (+0) helicopters;
• 6,787 (+16) tactical UAVs;
• 1,786 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 23 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 11,478 (+15) vehicles and tankers;
• 1,317 (+4) special vehicles and other equipment.
