Ukraine's forces restrain massive Russian assault on Tavriia front

Russian forces are increasing pressure on the Tavriia front; 24 combat clashes happened on that sector of the front just on the morning of 14 March, while 57 were recorded in total throughout the last 24 hours.

Quote: "The Defense Forces are continuing to conduct defensive operations in the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group's operational zone. And if there were 57 combat clashes in our operational zone the day before, there have already been 24 clashes as of 8:00 today."

Details: As of 8:00, 12 assault actions had been repelled by Ukrainian defenders in Donetsk Oblast, Lykhovii reports. One attempted Russian assault occurred in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

"A single figure testifies to the tension that existed at night and in the morning. As of 8:00, there were 13 clashes going on simultaneously. It hasn't been this way for a long time. And this is an indicator of the sheer tension, the pressure the enemy creates, and what burden falls on our soldiers," said Lykhovii.

Previously: The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported that 79 combat clashes occurred at the front over the last day. Additionally, 970 Russian soldiers were killed or injured.
