Ukraine's Defence Intelligence says Moscow Oblast shooting is provocation by Putin's special services

Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has stated that the recent terrorist attack in Moscow Oblast is a deliberate provocation by Putin’s regime and had been anticipated by the international community.

Quote: "This is the deliberate provocation by Putin’s special services that the international community warned us about. The Kremlin tyrant started his career like this, and he wants to end it the same way: committing crimes against his citizens."

Background: Masked gunmen opened fire prior to a concert by the band Piknik at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast, on the evening of 22 March. The Russian authorities report that an unknown number of people have been killed and injured. The concert had sold out and there may have been up to 2,000 people in the hall. An explosion caused a fire to break out in the building and the roof is collapsing.

On 8 March, the US Embassy in Russia and the UK Foreign Office warned of possible terrorist attacks in Moscow.
