Drone operators from the 1st Azov National Guard Corps are already carrying out missions to strike targets near the Russian border. This video shows combat operations on the Mariupol-Taganrog and Mariupol-Volnovakha roads.
There will no longer be a safe Azov Sea region for the occupiers."
Details: The Corps added that Ukrainian territory must be free of Russian troops, and the most reliable way to achieve this is to move the "sanitary zone" (buffer zone) for Russian logistics closer to Russia itself and occupied Crimea.
Background:
- On 16 April, the 1st Azov National Guard Corps said it had taken control of all Russian logistics routes near occupied Donetsk and would destroy all targets moving along them from then on.
- On 8 May, Azov drone operators demonstrated the work of their reconnaissance and strike systems in Mariupol and said they were patrolling roads up to 160 km from the line of contact. The strikes were carried out along the so-called Novorossiya road.
- On 22 May, Volodymyr Saldo, the Moscow-installed puppet head of the occupied part of Kherson Oblast, ordered restrictions on traffic along the so-called Novorossiya road running along the Sea of Azov after Ukrainian drones began striking it.
