First group of people manages to flee Mariupol

On 14 March, 160 people managed to leave Mariupol in private vehicles.

According to Starukh: "[…] the Russian troops allowed 160 private vehicles to leave Mariupol, some of which have already reached the city of Zaporizhzhia."

Details: Starukh also said that insofar as the humanitarian convoy is concerned, the Russian troops are not allowing medicine, food, and other essentials to be delivered to the city’s civilians for the third day now.

As of 14 March, the convoy was at a standstill where it was stopped by the Russian armed forces, 60km outside of Mariupol.

Background: Petro Andryuschenko, Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol, announced that the humanitarian corridor from the city began working.
