In Luhansk Oblast, heavy fighting for Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk continues. According to the head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, Russian troops have entered the outskirts of Sievierodonetsk.

Details: Two civilian residents of Sievierodonetsk were killed by Russian shells, another five were injured. Most of them lived in the same, old district of the city. According to Haidai, they were preparing food in a courtyard when the shelling began.

Two residents of Syrotyne also sustained serious injuries.

All casualties received medical assistance and have been hospitalised in Donetsk Oblast.

According to the head of Luhansk Military Administration,at least 12 residential buildings were damaged or destroyed in Sievierodonetsk on 29 May, 18 in Lysychansk, 10 in Vrubivka (as well as a community hall there), 3 in Zolote, and 2 each in Nyrkove, Mykolaivka, and Viktorivka.

Meanwhile, Russian troops are transferring large quantities of military equipment and weapons to the Sievierodonetsk front.

Haidai added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed 14 Russian attacks over the past 24 hours and destroyed 2 Russian artillery systems, 11 armoured combat vehicles, and 10 motor vehicles. Ukrainian Air Defence Forces shot down 2 cruise missiles and 3 KUB-BLA high-precision combat drones.
