Quote from Khorunzhyi: "These are optimistic estimates, because we don’t know yet what is happening in the territories where active hostilities are taking place. Or what we will see when we liberate them from the occupiers. SES units are still working on demining the country after the First and Second World Wars."

Details: According to Khorunzhyi, more than 62,000 hectares have been cleared, and over 45,000 explosive devices have been disarmed, including about 2,000 aerial bombs.

SES specialists are also demining bodies of water.

About 33 hectares of water bodies in Kyiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts have already been cleared [of explosives]. 664 explosive devices were disarmed there.
