Russians in Melitopol prepare for offensive by Armed Forces of Ukraine – the mayor

The occupiers of Melitopol are bolstering its defence in preparation for an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Quote: "The pseudo head of the Health Department, assigned by the Ruscists in Melitopol, has called a meeting. He has told all collaborators and those in charge of healthcare institutions to lay in food and water stocks and to seal the windows."
Details: During the last two weeks, the situation has become more complicated but the occupiers realise that "their peaceful life in Melitopol has come to an end", states Fedorov.
Recently the occupiers blocked a checkpoint in Vasylivka and wouldn’t let people pass in order to use them as a "human shield" and pull off a relocation to front-line territory.
Background:
- Recently it has become known that the Russian occupiers have once again blocked the road from occupied Melitopol to Zaporizhzhia.
- On 12 July the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a strike on an occupied military unit near Melitopol.
