Residents of Nikopol are warned of possible new strikes by Russian troops

Yevhen Yevtushenko, Head of the Nikopol District Military Administration, has warned residents that Russian troops may be preparing for a new attack using multiple-launch rocket systems.

Quote: "We have information about the activation of MLRSs on the opposite bank [of the Dnipro river - ed.]. It is possible that another shelling is being planned.

Just in case — don’t go outside. Today it is better to sleep in a corridor or rooms whose windows do not face the reservoir, or to be in a bomb shelter. Stay away from windows and glass doors.

This advice applies primarily to people who live in cities, villages and towns located on the banks of the Kakhovka Reservoir.

It is most relevant for the city of Nikopol."

• Earlier, Yevtushenko called on local residents to identify traitors and supporters of the Russians.
