Details: A video of the Antonivka Road Bridge, which the invaders have closed to traffic due to damage after a night strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has been released into the public domain.

The bridge is "full of holes", and in some places it is completely perforated.

The Ukrainian fighters hit virtually the same part of the road surface on the bridge as last time.

"Now the only way to escape is on foot or by water," commented the Ukrainian Armed Forces' StratCom on the prospects of the Russian invaders.

Previously: Russian occupying forces reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ shelling on the night of 26-27 July had damaged  both the Antonivka Road Bridge and the railway bridge.

For reference: There are two bridges across the Dnipro near Kherson: a road bridge, better known as the Antonivka Road Bridge, and the railway bridge (also called the Antonivka Railway Bridge). The road bridge was built in 1985, it has 31 piers, it is 1366 metres long and 25 metres wide. The construction of the railway bridge behind the village of Antonivka began in 1939 and it was put into operation in 1954.

Supplies for the Russian occupiers: manpower and equipment are currently going over the bridges to Kherson.

  • The Antonivka Road Bridge has been shelled at least twice so far, on 19 July and 20 July.

On the evening of 26 July, Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Centre of the Defence Forces in the south of Ukraine, said the strikes by the Ukrainian armed forces were "high-precision".
