Russian rockets hit a children's playground and a museum located in the centre of Kyiv.

Quote from Tymoshenko: "The children's playground and the Khanenko museum in the center of the capital, this is where the Russian terrorists aimed. They are killing culture and our children."

- In the morning of 10 October, several explosions rang out in the centre of the capital, causing casualties and fatalities. The movement of trains on the red line of the metro is suspended.
- Mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klychko reported that Russian rockets hit facilities in the Shevchenkivskyi and Solomianskyi neighbourhoods of Kyiv; traffic in the centre of the capital is blocked.
