Ukraine’s air defence shot down three Russian rockets and five kamikaze drones over Odesa Oblast on the morning of 10 October.

Quote: "Air defence shot down three rockets and five kamikaze drones in Odesa Oblast. There is an ongoing threat of a strike from the air, defence missions are currently underway."

Details: Marchenko urged local residents to remain in shelters until otherwise instructed.

Background:

• On the morning of 10 October, several explosions rang out in the centre of the capital, causing casualties and fatalities. The movement of trains on the red line of the metro is suspended. 
• Explosions are also heard in other cities of Ukraine: Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, and Lviv.
