Ex-president of Motor Sich company sabotaged transfer of helicopters to Ukrainian army at beginning of full-scale war

At the beginning of the full-scale war launched by Russia against Ukraine, Viacheslav Bohuslaev, the then president of the Motor Sich Company, ordered the disassembling of the helicopters produced by that corporation so that Ukrainian pilots could not use them.

Source: Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin, in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine

Details: According to Kostin, Bohuslaev ordered among other things the removal of the rotor blades from the helicopters.

Quote: "And trading in such 'death machines’ is not all. The investigation [team] has information that at the beginning of the full-scale war, the president of Motor Sich, after an appeal to this effect from the Ukrainian military, ordered employees of the enterprise to hide documents relating to the helicopters so that the Ukrainian defence forces cannot use the equipment. They say that Ukrainian pilots will not fly a helicopter if they do not have the requisite forms.

But that's not all! After the Ukrainian military had asked for helicopters, the president of Motor Sich gave the order to disassemble the equipment. [The employees] just remove[d] the blades from the helicopters."

More details: The prosecutor general drew attention to the fact that all of this happened at the beginning of the war, when Russian helicopters had attacked Hostomel [airfield], and Russian troops were shelling Ukrainian cities, and "when timely support for the Armed Forces in the air was so important."
