The Office of the President of Ukraine has called on European countries to "close the sky over Ukraine" following a massive Russian missile attack and an incident on the border with Poland on 15 November.

Quote from Podoliak: "There is no need to look for excuses and postpone key decisions. It is time for Europe to ‘close the sky over Ukraine’. For its own security as well."

Details: Podoliak reminded us that Russia is responsible both for the massive missile attacks on Ukraine and for the rapidly growing risks to bordering countries.

Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov added that the incident on the border with Poland is "the reality we have been warning about. We were asking to close the sky, because the sky has no borders."

Reznikov said that unguided Russian missiles are dangerous not only for Ukraine, but also pose a threat to neighbouring countries, members of the European Union and NATO.

"The gloves are off. Time to win," the minister added.
