A video showing the first minutes following the Russian attack on the city of Kharkiv on 2 January was posted by the Patrol Police of Kharkiv Oblast.

Details: The video shows the destruction of houses, fires, injured civilians, policemen unlocking the doors of apartments with victims or injured people inside.

The Ukrainian policemen along with other services are providing assistance to victims on the ground, giving an unhindered passage for doctors and rescue workers, as well as ensuring safety on site.

Quote: "Every day, Russia cynically carries out attacks on [the city of – ed.] Kharkiv and Kharkiv Oblast. Terrorists kill and injure civilians, destroy infrastructure. That is why, we ask citizens not to ignore air-raid warnings and stay close to places of shelter."
