Prosecutor General's Office to request arrest and US$13 million bail for son of businessman involved in MoD procurement case

The Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv will choose a preventive measure for Roman Hrynkevych, who is involved in the case of procurement for the Ministry of Defence, on 22 January.

Details: The hearing to choose the preventive measure is scheduled to take place at 19:30 on Monday.

The prosecution will request that Hrynkevych be arrested with an alternative bail of UAH 500 million (about US$13,4 million).

Background: On 22 January, Roman Hrynkevych, the son of a scandalous Lviv businessman involved in a case of supplying low-quality clothing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was detained in Odesa. He had been put on the wanted list. Prosecutors obtained a court order to detain him.
