Air defence destroys 21 drones out of 28 launched at night

Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 21 UAVs out of 28 launched on the night of 6-7 January.

Quote: "On the night of 6-7 January, the occupiers attacked with 28 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area, Russia, and three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from occupied Donetsk Oblast.

The main directions of the attack are south and east".

Details: The Air Force says that 21 Russian UAVs were destroyed by the Ukrainian Air Force and Defence Forces.

Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack.

Air defence forces were operating in Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia and Cherkasy oblasts.
