Evacuation from Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast intensifies due to increased Russian attacks

Evacuation measures have been intensified in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast as Russian strikes increase in frequency and intensity.

Details: Syniehubov reported that over 4,000 residents currently remain in the Kupiansk hromada [an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.], most of them elderly people.

  • On 7 October, the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration announced mandatory evacuations from the villages of Bohuslavka and Iziumske in the Borova hromada due to the security situation.
