President Zelenskyy: US support allows us to make gains on the battlefield

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine said that Ukraine has made some gains on the battlefield thanks to the military aid from the United States.

Background:
- Mark Milley, United States Army general and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that American HIMARS multiple rocket launchers will arrive in Ukraine by the end of June. Ukrainian military personnel have almost completed their training with the new American equipment.
- The US has put together a new $1 billion package of military aid for Ukraine, which includes Harpoon coastal defence systems, following the latest Ramstein-format meeting between the ministers of defence of Ukraine and its partners.
- Sources in the Pentagon said that the US will share intelligence data with Ukrainian military command in order to ensure the new missile launchers are used effectively.
