Quote from Reznikov: "We’ve got reinforcements! The first Panzerhaubitze 2000 units are here. German Panzerhaubitze 2000 with trained Ukrainian crews have joined the Ukrainian artillery family."

Details: Oleksii Reznikov stressed that this is the 6th type of 155-mm artillery that has strengthened Ukrainian defences.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are already hammering the aggressors with M777, FH70, M109, AHS Krab, Caesar and Ph2000.

Oleksii Reznikov thanked the German partners for their support and said that Ukraine expects the aid to increase.

Background:

In April, Ukraine received an offer to purchase 100 self-propelled howitzers from Germany.

On 14 June, the German Minister of Defence, Christine Lambrecht, stated that training of Ukrainian troops on the Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers in Germany would be "soon" completed.

Later, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that the issue of NATO countries providing Ukraine with heavy weapons would be discussed during the meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group.
