Zelenskyy recalls National Security Council's decision regarding trips abroad for officials

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasised that the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine has restricted the travel of government officials, members of parliament and other government representatives to business trips.

Any travel abroad by state officials, members of parliament, representatives of local governments, and other persons authorised to perform functions of state or local self-government must be in accordance with the relevant NSDC decision, which you have all seen.

There will be no other trips abroad by officials or MPs during wartime.

I think that's fair."

Details: This appears to be how the president reacted to the scandal involving his party member Mykola Tyshchenko's trip to Thailand.

Before that, it was discovered that Deputy Prosecutor General Oleksii Symonenko went on vacation to Spain in the Mercedes of Lviv businessman and MP Hryhoriy Kozlovskyi.

Therefore, on January 23, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided that during martial law, civil servants could travel outside of Ukraine exclusively on business trips.

However, this did not stop Tyshchenko.

On the other hand, the Cabinet of Ministers has apparently not yet made the appropriate changes to the resolution on border crossing procedures; the NSDC has given it five days to do so.

However, Tyshchenko has already been expelled from the party and dismissed from the post of deputy head of the faction in the Verkhovna Rada. He is about to be expelled from the faction for his inappropriate behaviour during the war. Although Tyshchenko claims that he is working hard abroad.
