Evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from Gaza begins

Evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from Gaza has begun; the first group of people has been released.

Details: According to a local resident, a citizen of Ukraine who coordinates Ukrainians on the spot, about 20 people were evacuated as of 17:00 on 7 November.

Suspilne cited Yevhen Korniichuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel, who said that as of 7 November, 101 citizens of Ukraine received permission to evacuate from the Gaza Strip.

In a comment to Ukrainska Pravda, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that they could not yet disclose details, since the process of evacuating citizens was still ongoing.
