Russian military assets active in Belarus

On April 2, the active transportation and movement of heavy Russian military equipment marked with the letter "V"on the territory of Belarus continues.

Details: Additionally, in the morning on April 2, a column of approximately 20 military KamAZ trucks with the letter "V" were spotted on route R-122 from Chavusy in the direction of Cherykaw.

From Khoiniki to Bragin two trailers and a tractor belonging to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation marked "V" were moving. Additionally, the tractor was towing a tank.

A KamAZ truck carrying a pontoon bridge was spotted in Mozyr. The vehicle was marked "V" and was moving towards the highway bridge, which leads to the R-131 highway in the direction of Kalinkovichi.

Also on the morning of April 2, a convoy of at least 30 KamAZ vehicles and Russian tankers marked "V" was moving from Maryina Gorka towards Bobruisk.

Around 11:00 a column of 40 units of Russian equipment was moving from Gomel in the direction of Minsk on the M5 route. The column included 9 "Iskander"-type rocket systems, control and guidance systems mounted on KamAZ and Ural trucks, 4 BTR armoured personnel carriers and an "Uragan" missile barrage launcher. 

Motolko said that a new Russian Armed Forces base is being established on the "Mozirsilmash '' industrial plant in Mozir (Gomel region). Earlier on April 2, workers at the plant reported a significant concentration of Russian military assets.

The journalist also stated that  the "Mozirsilmash" plant has a rail connection, which makes this location suitable for unloading and distribution of supplies for the army. 

At 12:30 via road H-4739 in Mozir at least 10-15 KamAZ 3C vehicles marked with the letter "V" left carrying pontoon bridges. The equipment travelled through Mozir in the direction of Kalinkovichi. This column also included fuel trucks, a field kitchen, BTRs and KamAZ trucks carrying assault boats. 

At 14:00 a column of Russian equipment was moving from Khoiniki towards Rechitsa via route P-33. It included 5 "Grad" rocket systems, an armoured "Tigr" vehicle, 30 KamAZ trucks and 15 Ural trucks.

After the last round of negotiations in Istanbul on March 29th between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations, the Russian side announced that there would be a"major decrease" in its invasion force in the regions of Kyiv and Chernihiv. 

Journalists and volunteers are regularly spotting and reporting the movement of Russian military assets on the territory of Belarus. 

On the 30th of March on the territory of Belarus, close to the Ukrainian border, Russian military columns marked with the letter "V" were still moving, including "Point-U" rockets, BTRs, "Tigr" vehicles as well as multiple KamAZ trucks and fuel trucks.

On April 1st, between 19:36 to 23:20, more than 30 missiles were launched from the territory of Belarus into the territory of Ukraine.
