Russian attacks on Sumy Oblast: over 170 explosions over past day, one person injured

The Russians fired 40 times at the territories of Sumy Oblast over the past day, attacking with various weapons, launching rockets and dropping mortar bombs. One person was wounded in Myropillia hromada as a result of the attacks [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.].

Quote: "A total of 173 explosions were recorded. The hromadas of  Khotin, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Putyvl, Shalyhyne, Esman, Znob-Novhorodske and Seredyna-Buda came under fire."

Details: The Russians fired at Khotin hromada with artillery and mortars (18 explosions).

Shalyhyne hromada was attacked with mortars (four explosions).

A mortar attack was also recorded in Znob-Novhorodske hromada (five explosions).  

Esman hromada was subjected to mortar attacks, artillery fire and a strike from a helicopter with the launch of four rockets.

The Russians dropped an explosive device from a UAV on Krasnopillia hromada and carried out artillery and mortar attacks (21 explosions).

Seredyna-Buda hromada was attacked by an FPV kamikaze drone; there were also artillery and mortar attacks (32 explosions).

In Bilopillia hromada, attacks by an FPV kamikaze drone and attacks from MLRS, artillery and grenade launchers were also recorded (32 explosions).

The Russians fired at Vorozhba hromada from a tank (eight explosions). 

Velyka Pysarivka hromada was attacked with artillery, mortars and an explosive device dropped from a UAV (seven explosions).

The Russians dropped three mortar bombs on Putyvl hromada.

Myropillia hromada was subjected to mortar and artillery attacks, with a total of 29 explosions. One person was injured as a result of the Russian attacks.
