One-year-old child sustains shrapnel wounds in Chornobaivka after Russian attack

Russian forces attacked Chornobaivka in Kherson Oblast, injuring a one-year-old child.

Details: Invaders deployed artillery to shell the settlement. Russians targeted a house of civilians, the Oblast State Administration stressed.

A projectile hit the windows in the nursery, and it injured the baby with glass fragments. Fortunately, the munition did not detonate.

The boy is in a serious condition; glass fragments have injured his ears and face," the Oblast State Administration reported.

Currently, the lives and health of the boy and his mother are not in danger, but they will stay in the hospital for several days.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, 461 children have been killed in Ukraine since the beginning of a full-scale war in Ukraine, and 927 have been injured.
